The decision to leave a church is a tough one, primarily because of the relationships you create within the body of the church. You make friends you love and have done life with, but there are still times when you must leave. Additionally, it becomes complicated by other issues because there is a perception of disloyalty, disunity, and mistrust. I had someone tell me once that I couldn’t leave a church because it was causing division and was not biblical. In most cases, there is no such thing as an easy way to know whether to leave your church or not. Keeping that in mind some signs make it easier to stomach.
There are tons of questions that come up when you are thinking about leaving a Church. I will tell you from personal experience that the most important thing to do is pray. Spend lots of time with God before making this decision.
