Today we will spend time discussing the difference between Jesus as your Lord and Jesus as your Savior.  When we make Jesus Lord, we get Jesus as Savior thrown in.  That is, it becomes part of the total package. The order is important.

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Revelation 19:16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.
